Meanwhile back at more modest shoots, a small team from Abbey came away with quite a few medals and trophies from the Green Dragon Windsor, shot in the grounds of Knebworth House .  In the Gents' Compound Paul Payne came 2nd and Chris Payne came 3rd.  They also won the  Compound Team award.  Meanwhile in the Ladies' Recurve Philippa Armitage came 1st. 

12th May

Congratulations to club member Mary Perrott, who along with Zoe Coggins and Georgie Brown took the junior compound women's silver medal in the  European Junior Cup tournament in Porec, Croatia. They lost to Italy 223 - 208 in the final.

Congratulations to our senior coach, Tony Ferguson who has just become the SCAS Coach of the Year.

11th/12th February

Abbey once again hosted the county indoor champs.  Well done to all the club members who came away with trophies and medals, including 1st and 2nd Ladies' Recurve, 2nd Gents' Recurve, Recurve Team Award, Boys' U18 Recurve, Girls' U18 Compound, Ladies and Gents' Barebow, 1st Gents' Longbow, 2nd Ladies' Longbow, 1st Ladies' Compound.  The full results and lots of photos are on the county website.
